Congratulations to the Options Lab team. Many of our members were accepted for either poster presentations or oral presentations at the 33rd Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDs (CAHR 2024) in London, Ontario.

Oral abstracts were presented delivered by Maryam, Stanley, Monica and Yasamin. Maryam and Stanley presented on the status of their update of the Canadian PrEP/PEP Guidelines. Yasamin presented work conducted during her graduate studies, with her abstract titled: Characterizing Healthcare Providers’ Behaviour regarding Prescribing HIV PrEP to Cisgender and Transgender Women in Canada: A Cross-sectional Survey. Finally, Monica delivered a talk about her work from her time as an MPH Practicum student in the lab, titled: Reported Side Effects and Adherence of Daily HIV PrEP Users in Ontario, Canada: An Analysis of the
Ontario PrEP Cohort Study

Moreover, posters were presented by Stanley (Systematic Review of PEP Clinical Trials & Cohort Studies to Inform Updated Canadian Guidelines), Ashan (Adoption and Implementation of Injectable ART at Specialized HIV Clinics in Ontario) and Ivan (The Future of PrEP is Now: Pilot testing a survey to assess 2SGBQM community needs and preferences for taking PrEP).
