Medi Usoro

I bring over six years of experience in HIV and Hepatitis C research, spanning work in Nigeria with the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria and in Canada with the Toronto Centre for Liver Disease. This journey led me to the Options Lab, where I am excited to contribute to innovative and impactful research.

I am currently involved in novel studies such as Preparing for the Use of Long-Acting Antiretrovirals in HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PLAN-PEP) and Studying Seroprevalence and Acceptability to Plan HSV-2 PrEP and PEP Trials (HSV Study). These projects aim to meaningfully improve health outcomes for study participants and the broader community.

Outside of work, I enjoy going on road trips and am a big fan of UFC and soccer.
