Emma Monti

Hi! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year medical student at Queen's University. I'm thrilled to be joining the Options lab as a summer student, and am passionate about improving the access and quality of HIV/AIDS care in key communties across Canada. In the past, I have researched HIV/AIDS at the University of Manitoba in my hometown of Winnipeg, and look forward to continuing my work in this field. I am also interested in improving 2SLGBTQ+ visibility in medical training and practice, working to ensure these communities are represented in academic and medical settings. In my free time, you can find me running, cooking or trying new cafes around Toronto.
