The VOLITION Study for Adults Living With HIV
HIV Treatment is personal and it is not a one size fits all situation. DOVATO and CABENUVA are both approved as HIV treatments. The VOLITION study will evaluate these medicines in participants who are living with HIV and are new to treatment. If eligible, you will receive DOVATO when you begin the study. This is a tablet taken once daily by mouth. Later, you may have the option to switch to CABENUVA. This is a set of two injections given once a month for the first two doses and then every other month.
Who will participate in the VOLITION study?
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have been diagnosed with HIV
- Have not started HIV treatment (up to 10 days of prior treatment is allowed)
There are other requirements you will need to meet. The study doctor will review these with you.
