I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto, Institute of Medical Science. Through my collaboration with Options Lab, I aim to quantify and measure the extent to which pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) may act as an anxiolytic for individuals with high levels of anxiety regarding HIV-acquisition. With data to be collected from the Ontario PrEP Cohort Study and Pan-Canadian PrEP Cohort, I hope to better understand the clinical implications of PrEP eligibility and its effects on health economics.

I am excited to start my work at Options Lab and work alongside this amazing team. As an advocate for mental health and well-being, especially amongst vulnerable populations such as gbMSM, I hope to utilize my research to highlight the strong intersectionality between mental health and sexual health.
