Shaoyuan Wang

I am currently a 1st year psychiatry resident at the University of Toronto who joined the research team in May 2017 as a summer research student while I was a medical student. My research interests include HIV treatment and prevention, mental health, and health equity. I worked on 1) a cross-section survey of PrEP users to determine the feasibility of vitamin D supplementation to mitigate TDF-induced bone loss and 2) a systematic review and meta-analysis that quantifies the decline in bone mineral density caused by TDF.
