Ishana Maini

Throughout the duration of my Master of Public Health degree, which I completed in December of 2022, I sought to work towards advancing engagement in preventative medicine and the provision of equitable health care services. I am ecstatic to be able to join the OPTIONS Lab in finding and implementing improved care options for HIV and STI treatment and prevention.

I am currently working on several projects as a Research Coordinator I, including a virtual pre-exposure prophylaxis program (vPrEP) to allow for more accessible provision of PrEP through a mobile application. I am excited to continue to learn and to contribute to the advancement of health equity in Canada alongside my knowledgeable and passionate colleagues in the OPTIONS Lab.
