Samantha Myers
I joined the Options Lab in November 2021 as a research assistant. I am now a clinical research coordinator I. I have over two years of research experience, predominantly in the psychosocial field. My research background is diverse and includes topics such as child development, reproductive health, and couples and sexual health. I am passionate about conducting research concerning the experiences of the LGBTQ2S+ community, in order to improve their access to care and overall quality of life.
The primary project that I am involved in at the Options Lab is a retrospective cohort study regarding pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis against HIV. I am very excited to be participating in research that will contribute to the development of new and improved HIV and STI prevention and treatment options. I am motivated by the passionate and innovative researchers and health care professionals with whom I work, and I am excited to learn more from them.
