Reva Persaud

I have over 7 years of diverse health care experience including Infectious and Tropical diseases. I have over 2 years of clinical research experience. I joined the OPTIONS Lab in March, 2021 as a research coordinator on the CORIPREV-LR (COVID-19 post exposure prophylaxis study). I currently work on OPT-In (HIV Post-exposure prophylaxis), VPrEP (Virtual PrEP), DaDHS and DISCO (Syphilis Pre-exposure prophylaxis) studies at the Positive Care Clinic at St. Michael’s Hospital.

I am most excited to be a part of the OPTIONS LAB team to provide novel and optimum preventative treatment options against COVID 19, HIV and bacterial STIs. I am motivated to keep on striving towards reducing the rates of newly detected infectious diseases and improving patients’ quality of life. I believe that every patient in our care should be provided with care “options” tailored to their needs.
