Kate Crans

I am a dedicated health care professional and CCRP with over 4 years experience in the clinical research field. I come from a diverse research background including dermatology and medical oncology and joined the OPTIONS laboratory in September 2020 to help assist with the HIV and COVID-19 directed trials.

While on the team I will be directing my focus on the CORIPREV trial, which investigates the use of post exposure prophylaxis for COVID-19, as well as the SOLAR HIV therapy trial, and the DaDHS trial studying pre-exposure prophylaxis against syphilis. What I am most excited about is the opportunity to provide meaningful care and advocate for our patients within the infectious disease setting.

When I'm not at the hospital you can find me walking through High Park, or at my local yoga studio.
