Antigone Darsini

In March 2022, I joined the Options Collaboratory as the provincial coordinator supporting the Ontario PrEP Cohort (ON-PrEP) Study, which aims to gather real-world data over time about key biological, behavioural, experiential and engagement-in-care outcomes in a cohort of diverse PrEP users in Ontario.

My first role out of university was in community HIV/AIDS research – I moved on to mental health administration and assessment support, and then worked on an SJT-based skills assessment for medical school admissions in the education technology space. I’m so excited about this opportunity to return to HIV/AIDS research, to be among brilliant and compassionate colleagues, researchers and health care professionals, to support exciting advances in the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, and to learn from the communities we serve and our partners.
